He's landed! Officially in the Mission Field:

yeah im sorry bout that mom! i tried calling a few people in the family i only got a hold of katie though! but my mission is awesome! on the airplane i sat next to a guy in his 30's?? maybe.. his name is thomas! we talked about the scriptures the entire plane ride! i told him about our church and a few beliefs we have that no other churches do.. he isnt a member of any church,  he just one day wanted to know more about God! and i sat next to him on the plane! but so we still had so many things to talk about when the plane landed, he had so many questions. so i gave him a pass along card along with the only copy of the book of mormon i had! i wasnt going to bring it, cause our teacher in the MTC said that we would have plenty out in the mission field but im glad i brought it! so i gave him a B.O.M and a pass along and said that in georgia ( where he lives ) there are missionaries just like me who can tell him more about god and our purpose on this world, i cant remember the specific words i said but something to that extent, so he is super solid! i know that he had so many more questions and he knew that we had the answers, so hopefully he calls or goes online and meets with them. when i got off the plane i saw him put the B.O.M and the card in his suitcase! so i think he is going to read it!

i also have so many awesome investigators right now! we met with this women named vernel Morgan last night, cause a few days ago we tracted into her husband, he didnt seem interested but we told him we wanted to give him a book of mormon, he said we could stop by the house in a few days, but he probably woulndt be there, so we stoped by last night, he wasnt there.. but its ok cause we sat on their front porch and talked with his wife! she had this look about her that i knew she was interested! so she asked us to come in! she is a 9-12th grade teacher for science and she is a reader! she had so many books! she mentioned that she met with the missionaries along time ago.. but at the time she had 3 deaths in her family so i think she was to worried about those things to remember what the missionaries said.. she has a book of mormon but we left her our copy for her husband. we talked for awhile, it was about 9 when we realized we better head off. it was a great first meeting.. we didnt get to teach to much about the restoration or any other lessons, but we asked her if we could come back! she said cause of their work schedules it was hard, but she said if we ever saw her blue car in the driveway or infront of her house to come right up cause she wanted to learn more about our church!

there are hard times in my missions like when people drop our appointments but the joys that come from sharing the gospel out weigh the bad in a heartbeat! let the family know i love em! and look forward to there letters! i cant remember my zip code but my address is 505 N. Rock Rd. wichita, KS... i dont see the problem with sending mail strait to me. but if you want to send it to the mission home thats fine also! i just thought you should have my strait address! Love you all!!!!!!!!! Elder Dahl!
